Loopback: One platform for your entire stack

Our new website is live. Loopback is a European Developer Platform that brings Kubernetes, Object Storage, Registry, and deployments through Bundles into a single environment. You manage your stack with one account, centralized permissions, and consolidated billing.

Modern applications depend on several infrastructure services. Kubernetes runs containers, Object Storage holds files, a registry stores images and Helm charts, and deployment workflows connect source code with the cluster. When every service has a separate console and access model, operational overhead grows.

At loopback.cloud, we explain how these products work together and how you can start with one service and add others later.

One platform for your stack

Kubernetes, Object Storage, Registry, and Bundles live in the same Loopback organization. Accounts, groups, and permissions are managed centrally. You select the infrastructure provider and location for each service.

Start with a cluster or a storage bucket, then add the products you need. The interface, permissions, and billing model remain consistent.

Kubernetes with a highly available control plane

Loopback provides the highly available Kubernetes control plane and private networking. You choose a provider and location for your cluster and manage the infrastructure through the platform.

  • Highly available control plane and private networking
  • Scaling Groups with configurable autoscaling logic
  • One-click upgrades
  • Maintenance windows

Your cluster uses the standard Kubernetes API, so existing tooling and workflows remain usable. Explore Kubernetes.

Object Storage with S3-compatible APIs

Object Storage offers public and private buckets through familiar S3-compatible APIs and SDKs. You create access keys and manage permissions within Loopback.

Choose an S3 provider and access buckets in the same project as your cluster. Applications continue using familiar interfaces while the management of infrastructure stays in one place.

Registry for images and Helm charts

The Loopback Registry provides OCI- and Docker-compatible repositories for container images and Helm charts. Repositories can be public or private, and standard clients support push and pull operations.

Robot accounts provide machine access for automated workflows. Central RBAC controls permissions. The registry is available across the organization rather than being limited to a single project.

Bundles connect GitHub to your cluster

With Bundles, you deploy applications directly from GitHub. A Bundle represents an application with multiple environments and sources for the app and charts.

The workflow includes an integrated chart builder, deployment history, and controls for deploy, rollback, and undeploy. Images pushed through a Bundle are stored in the Loopback Registry automatically. The path from repository to cluster stays connected to its artifacts.

Central RBAC for teams and products

Each person has an account and can join an organization. Within it, you define groups and fine-grained, product-specific permissions.

Loopback supports SSO, external identity providers, OTP, passkeys, and API tokens. Teams and automated processes use one access model rather than maintaining separate role structures for every service.

Choose providers and locations

Selected infrastructure providers run your workloads. The Loopback platform and its central account, permissions, and billing data run in Germany. You choose where your workloads run through the provider and location selection.

That lets you handle different infrastructure requirements within one organization without switching management platforms.

Developed and operated in Germany

Loopback GmbH develops and operates the platform in Germany and is the contract partner for the platform, support, and billing.

Loopback is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2024 and ISO 9001:2015. Read more about these foundations on the Compliance page.

Our new website covers the products, operational model, and practical use cases, including production SaaS applications, separate development and production environments, and infrastructure across providers.

On the blog, we will cover architecture, Kubernetes operations, Object Storage, Registry, and deployment workflows in more detail.
